Can i use air miles to get a discount on a plane ticket?

i am goin to ireland next summer and i have 18,000 miles i was wondering if i could use the miles to get a discount on a plane ticket

I don’t know if that’s enough miles to go to Ireland.

The miles have to belong to the airline you are flying on, unless you are using American Express miles. AX miles you can use to pay part or all on a plane ticket.

What kind of airline miles do you have?

We just used American Express miles for tickets to the Caribbean. Good Luck)
