Connecting Flights at Hong Kong airport?
We fly to Phuket from South Africa. We have to change planes at Hong Kong airport. We will book our luggage in South Africa to be transferred straight to Phuket. We arrive 08:15 in Hong Kong and then depart within 50 minutes (09:10) to Phuket. Is the arrival and departure areas close enough?
Do you mean far away enough not close enough? As long as you have a connecting flight there will be plenty of time as you wont have to clear customs, assuming you literally have to walk from one Flight To the other you will be fine (barring any flight delays, which even so shouldn’t be too much of a problem if you have connecting flights, they will just stick you on the next flight out) but be warned, there aren’t too many flights out of Hong Kong to Phuket daily.
